Dan Swedlow, Tami Becker Gomez, Megan Fouty & Caleb Weaver

Dan Swedlow is a partner at Seyfarth Shaw in Seattle. He represents both public and private sector employers in the development and implementation of effective collective bargaining strategies. Dan serves as lead negotiator across a wide range of industries and has extensive history assisting clients in their relationships with organized labor. He also represents employers in grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, unfair labor practice hearings, representational disputes, and strikes.


Becker Gomez, TamiTami Becker Gomez is Senior Corporate Counsel, Labor & Employment, for Alaska Air Group, Inc. In that capacity, she is responsible for overseeing and supporting all labor and employment law matters regarding flight crew and dispatchers for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Tami previously was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Seattle, supporting various city departments and serving as the in-house Labor and Employment Counsel for the Seattle Police Department. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington in 2010 and her Bachelor of Science (Political Science) from Stanford University in 2005.


Megan Fouty is the General Counsel and CHRO at Glowforge, Inc., a Seattle-based technology start-up that designs and produces 3D laser printers.  Megan oversees the Legal, HR, customer support organization, recruiting, and the facilities team at Glowforge. Megan joined Glowforge’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. Megan came from heading up the legal team at Convoy, Inc. another Seattle-based technology start up. In addition to her day job, Megan founded and runs Diversity University, a company that provides diversity, equity, and inclusion tools such as trainings, project management, or assists in investigations for companies, law firms, and organizations. Megan’s background includes both law firm and in-house experience with previous senior legal positions at Moss Adams, one of the country’s largest public accounting firms and Expeditors International, a Fortune 500 international logistics company.  Megan serves on the board of directors for Providence Pediatric Hospice of Seattle. Recently she was awarded the top ten 30 somethings by ACC national,  received the “Legal MVP Award” by SimpleLegal, she was listed in Marquis 2022 Who’s Who in America, was featured on the International “The Counsel” Podcast, and was recognize by our very own Women, Influence and Power in Law for Championing Diversity in-house and for Innovative Leadership.  She has spoken around the country on a wide range of topics and is seen as a prominent leader in the legal community. She recently published her book The Art of Networking, providing women, underrepresented individuals, and anyone looking for career progression or to grow a more robust network with tangible tools and advice to do so.


Caleb Weaver is a Vice President at Ridwell, where he oversees legal, compliance, public affairs, and human resources. Prior to Ridwell, Caleb ran public affairs for Uber for much of the western US. Caleb began his career doing policy work for the Governors of Missouri and Illinois, eventually landing on President Obama’s 2008 campaign and then at USDA during the early years of the Obama administration as the national Press Secretary. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Caleb’s brief stint at a law firm after leaving government convinced him that the practice of law was better left to others.
